Mid-size companies that do regional and national events don’t always have an in-house pro to organize training, sales and team-building exercises. MG steps in to help shoulder the work load when you've got to add a social element to your business gathering. Cocktail hours, networking events and valuable edutainment is all within our wheelhouse.
COUNTERFEIT CLASSICO: Sniffing Out an Imposter
After a brief presentation on the intriguing rise of counterfeit and fraudulent wines, we serve a blind flight. One is “classico,” Bordeaux, Champagne, etc. and the other is “counterfeit,” a wine Bordeaux blend or sparkler from Virginia or Texas, for example, inspired by that classic. Two recent examples include Counterfeit Classico at the Salamander Resort and Spies & Wine at the International Spy Museum. Great wines can come from odd places, so attendees come away having learned something . . . not just drank something.
